An easy way to spice up your dinner…

1 lb. Angus Ground Beef

1/2 onion, diced

1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped

1/2 teaspoon each chili powder and ground cumin

4 slices Pepper Jack cheese

4 hamburger buns

Salsa, sliced avocado and tomato slices for serving (optional)


In a large bowl, use your hand to mix together the ground beef, onion, cilantro, chili powder and cumin. Shape into patties. Grill until burgers reach a safe internal temperature of 160ºF. Top each burger with a slice of Pepper Jack cheese and serve on buns with salsa, sliced avocado and tomato. Refrigerate leftovers.

Makes 4 servings
